sAw and SunPayus Set to Join G2 After Austin Major 2025!

Another great transfer in the Counter-Strike scene occurring after the BLAST Austin Major. Álvaro 'SunPayus' García and coach Eetu 'sAw' Saha have officially been announced that they will transfer from HEROIC to G2 Esports after the Major.

HEROIC's official statement:

Following these transfers, G2 might start to look more like a team with these key additions. The team will now consist of:

• Mario 'malbsMd' Samayoa

• Janusz 'Snax' Pogorzelski

• Nemanja 'huNter-' Kovač

• Nikita 'HeavyGod' Martynenko

• Álvaro 'SunPayus' García (AWPer)

• Eetu 'sAw' Saha (Head Coach)

SunPayus is set to replace temporary stand-in hades as the main AWPer.

Coach sAw's transfer seems to be a very strategic. Unfortunately TaZ was not the greatest coach G2 could have asked for and with the introduction of sAw this could see G2 rising to a great team once again. sAw is widely recognised for his strategy plays and resilience on the server, especially with ENCE and HEROIC.
